What is it? FFA (Future Farmers of America) is a national organization. They have a PALS (Partners in Active Learning Support) program, where members go to an elementary school to teach Agricultural Awareness, Farm Safety, and Animals. The Catoctin FFA Chapter participates in various fund-rasiers such as pig butcherings, and citrus sales. They go to local, state, and national competitions. Every year select students are sent to Louisville, Kentucky for the National Convention, and to Springfield, Mass. to the "Big E" Expo to compete with students from other states.
