What is it? Journalism is being offered as a course this year during the Spring Semester, 3rd Block, so they will not meet on Club Days. They are responsible for publishing the school's very own award winning newspaper "Cougar Prints." Usually 4 issues are published per year. For information about advertising rates, please contact Russ Headley, Journalism Advisor, at (240) 236-8100 Ext. 68118. Ad rates range from $10 per issue for a calling card-sized ad, up to $130 per issue for a Full Page ad. Journalism usually goes on a Field Trip to Frederick every spring for the Frederick News-Post High School Journalism Awards. They also sell donuts on Friday mornings as a fundraiser.
