Upcoming Events: SOME club is currently working to preserve Catoctin's outdoor Nature Trail by mulching, managing native wildflowers, and other forms of maintenance. February is National Bird-Feeding Month so the club will be building bird-feeders. In March and April students will be preparing for the Envirothon. They will be competing in groups of five with other schools accross the state in the areas of Wildlife, Forestry, Soils, Aquatics, and Environmental Issues. What is it? S.O.M.E. (Save Our Mother Earth) club provides environmentally active students with a way of helping the environment. In our very own schoolyard habitat, students can learn how to make the environment a place where native plants and animals can strive.
